Codegate were demonstrating 2 different Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) at this years RFID Live.
Our RF Controls solution uses passive UHF RFID to track assets withing warehousing. Antenna can be mounted high up in the roof and will provide accurate positions on a floorplan. The solution can be used to track assets, people or vehicles including forklifts. The video below shows the system in action.
The other system was an active BLE solution from our partners Quuppa which has excellent latency for fast moving asset tracking such as the Ice Hockey below.
Both of these technologies can easily be connected Codegate's 'Lime' asset tracking solution which can use a blend of different technologies to track an individual item.
We demonstrated our Lime Asset Inventory app on both the Nordic ID HH53 and the Zebra Technologies MC3300, but this app can also read 1D and 2D barcodes, NFC, Bluetooth and UHF RFIDD asset tags.
