Lime is Codegate’s cloud based solution that enables assets to be tracked simply and easily using a number of different IoT technologies including RFID.
BAE Systems have implemented Lime into one of their production facilities to enable them to track and manage their tools as they are moved around the facility.
Using UHF RFID, BAE Systems have tagged their tools which, Lime RFID portals track when an item is moved between locations. Location information is displayed in the Lime web portal in real time.
A handheld reader allows BAE asset managers to very quickly carry out a stock check of tools at any time and helps individual assets to be located within an area.
