Once again, Codegate have taken part in London Tech week's IoT World at TechXLR8 2018.
Our RFID Experts were demonstrating Codegate's 'Lime' Asset management tracking platform and the all new mobile application which allows users to track assets using a single device, reading:
- 1D or 2D Barcodes
- NFC RFID Tags
- BLE Tags
- UHF RFID Tags (with an optional reader fitted)
Delegates were impressed that by using Lime, they could use just one application to track assets their assets, no matter what tracking technology was used.
The new Lime Asset Inventory App means that an asset can be scanned at any part of the process using any of the different methods with just a mobile phone. The app even has a 'Find' feature which allows the user locate an asset with a signal level display. When used in connection with the full Lime platform, an asset can be tracked with fixed readers too as well as with GPS, LoRa and Sigfox.
An asset is often tagged using multiple technologies, the Lime blended solution would allow an asset to be tracked outside using a GPS tag, inside using UHF RFID and individually using a barcode or NFC tag.
