Cannes Lions Advertising Festival 2017
Thousands of people from nearly 100 countries working in creative communications, entertainment, design and tech came to Cannes to find out where the industry is heading and celebrate the power of creativity as a force for business, for change and for good.
Codegate were proud to have supported the words premier advertising awards event for the 15th year in a row with two solutions:
Over 15,000 people registered for the event using Regdesk, part of our suite of Expo solutions.
Our voting solutions were used to capture over 250,000 votes on mini tablet devices at the event with over 150,000 votes captured prior to the event on our securely hosted web portal by a panel of international jurors. There were over 40,000 entries to be judged by over 300 jurors so it was critical that Cannes Lions could rely on a fully supported trustworthy solution.
It is a pleasure to have been asked to provide critical Event solutions and support this prestigious event for the 15th year in a row.

RCN Congress 2017 uses Expo
Codegate were pleased to support this years Royal College of Nursing congress with our Expo Solution.
Delegate badges included a discreet UHF RFID tag which meant that they could be read automatically at various discreet check points without delegates having to be stopped and scanned which can cause delays in entering seminar theatres.
This event was held just before the 2017 General Election in the UK so Party leaders were arousing a lot of excitement and Seminar theatres were full.
Expo scanned nearly 4000 delegates through the event, recording attendance to around 100 seminars.
Codegate's Expo solution also incorporates an Exhibitor app which meant that exhibitors could capture sales leads from visitors to their exhibition stands using their own mobile phones. As well as providing the exhibitor with delegate details, the app allowed the exhibitor to add their own notes and menu options for following up enquiries later. Delegates received an automatic email from exhibitors thanking them for their enquiry. 45 Exhibitors took advantage of this feature of Expo this year.
