V-Log

V-Log visitors

V-Log is so easy to use

Once V-Log is installed it really is simple to operate. Just enter the surname, first name and company name of the visitor together with any relevant additional details and that's it! The visitor is logged in at the current date and time. If you have a Brother printer connected it will automatically print out a personalised visitor badge.

The visitor details will remain 'open' in the right hand viewing pane throughout the visit. On departure simply click on the visitor name and select 'Sign Out'.

Emergency List

V-Log management

In the event of an emergency and the building has to be evacuated, simply click the 'Emergency' button on the bottom right of the viewing pane to print out a list of visitors still in the building to the default line printer. If you have installed the Pro version you can even view the visitor list on your smart phone.

Management Information

The management menu allows you to view all people currently still in the building, all today's visitors or just those that have already signed out, or all visitors since the software was installed.

It is possible to back up the data at any time or export the information to a text file or spreadsheet.

V-Log options

Options Screen

You can set up a reminder pop up message to appear each time a visitor signs in or out. This could be changed to include emergency exit instructions, no smoking reminders or confidentiality terms.

The database location can be on the PC running the V-Log software or on a remote server. This will allow V-Log to be used at multiple entrances within the same building. Visitors will be able to enter and exit from different points.

Printing Your Own Visitor Badges

Label designer

V-Log software has been designed to work with recent models of Brother printer which use the P-Touch label design software and b-PAC client.

Self Sign-in

If you have an unmanned reception you can use a touch screen computer or tablet to allow visitors to sign themselves in and, if a Brother printer is connected, print their own badges. The touch screen software safeguards privacy by only showing details of the current signee, which also disappears as soon as the sign-in has completed.
