Large construction sites require careful logistical management. With hundreds of loads being delivered every day real time tracking is essential, from the moment the loads are ordered from the supplier. Track helps to ensure that site deliveries are well coordinated, delivery time and performance can be tracked by supplier, and site traffic is kept under control.
A web based system, Track links client and prime contractor to sub contractors and suppliers, allowing them to book delivery slots over the internet. Vehicles are allocated booking in slots to regulate the delivery flow each day.
Once at site, vehicles are identified with a radio tag or bar coded label. From that point their time and location on site is monitored. Late deliveries and excessive time in offloading can be flagged instantly, enabling corrective action to be taken and appropriate action taken against agreed SLAs.
Suppliers have real time web access to be able to see delivery status and receive updates of revised gate and booking information.
Track provides the main contractor with reports on delivery times of all vehicles, delivery audit trails and overall delivery performance. It can easily be extended to track containers and waste through to appropriate disposal.
