Manage construction site deliveries more efficiently.
Large construction sites require careful logistical management. With hundreds of loads being delivered every day real time tracking is essential, from the moment the loads are ordered from the supplier. Codegate Load Track software does exactly that.
A web based system, this software links client and prime contractor to sub contractors and suppliers, allowing them to book slots for delivery to logistics areas the next day. At each logistics area, loads are affixed with durable coloured polyester labels displaying unique delivery data - zones, floors, locations.
Once delivered to site the loads are immediately checked in using rugged mobile computers with integral bar code scanners. Once goods have been moved to the appropriate marshalling area they are scanned again, and the time taken to reach that point is computed. Suppliers have real time web access to be able to see confirmed delivery and receive updates of revised marshalling locations. The colour coded labels help to identify overstayed loads, which can be quickly moved.
Track provides the main contractor with reports on location usage, delivery times, consignment audit trails and no-shows at the logistics centres.
