Requesting label sets and even wristbands can now be printed where it's most convenient to the patient - at the bedside.
Pocket LabelTrace is suitable for community nurses visiting patients in the field, hospital nurses at the patient bedside, or any other location where it is necessary to take blood or other samples.
Pocket LabelTrace runs on a mobile computer, which can be used for multiple healthcare applications. Demographic data is stored on the device when the unit is synchronised to a workstation running the patient administration system.
A battery operated mobile computer is used to print the request labels over Bluetooth. They are in exactly the same format as those produced by LabelTrace PC version, and so are completely acceptable to the labs.
Pocket LabelTrace is compatible with all pocket clinical systems supported by Inchware.
Pocket LabelTrace can also be used to print patient wristbands at the bedside, using a different mobile printer which supports wristband media.
