Codegate Appointed as Intermec Honours Premier Partner
Mobile data solutions specialist Codegate has been appointed an Intermec Honours Premier Partner, the highest level of partner status available. Intermec is the world's largest manufacturer of data capture, mobile computing, barcode label printing and RFID products.
Terran Churcher, managing director for Codegate comments "The partnership with Intermec signifies a positive step forward for Codegate. Its range of hardware perfectly compliments our existing software solutions, enabling us to open more doors to opportunities in the sectors in which we are active, such as field force automation, transport and warehousing. The fact that Intermec manufactures a whole range of products, such as mobile computers, truck mount terminals and printers, means that we are able to provide our customers with a complete hardware solution from a single manufacturer, in addition to our software offerings."
The move comes as Codegate is making significant inroads into the field force automation sector, having developed bespoke software solutions for companies whose workforce is remote and mainly field-based. Intermec's range of mobile computers enables Codegate to extend its hardware offering and to take advantage of new technologies, such as integrated GPS available on Intermec's new CN3 device.
