Codegate Launches Pest Control Solution Improving Efficiency & Communications
Mobile data specialist Codegate has developed a dedicated solution for pest control companies, based on its highly successful mobileworkerTM solution.
Using rugged hand held terminals, mobileworker for pest control companies enables field based workers to collect key business information whilst onsite. This can include images of evidence of pests and damage caused, quantities of chemicals used and amount remaining on the vehicle, time spent on site and signatures to confirm acceptance of any costs incurred by customers. All of this important information can be transmitted directly back to head office in real time ensuring service levels are met and mobile workers never run out of chemicals.
Codegate’s mobileworker solution incorporates a wide variety of features that reduce paperwork and simplify a range of processes, including a job scheduling and dispatch system; tracking and recording of events such as areas inspected, infestations recorded and repairs made; tracking of chemicals and equipment used; creation of new quotes and jobs; vehicle tracking; satellite navigation; text messaging; and service level management.
Codegate’s mobileworker can be used on a range of hand held data capture devices, from compact rugged mobile computers to more lightweight PDAs. In conjunction with wireless communications, mobileworker offers real-time workforce job dispatch and status reporting; seamless connectivity between field technicians and office staff; full visibility of assets, materials and resources; monitoring of customer Service Level Agreements; and clear analysis and decision support.
Adam Dykman, Codegate’s Managing Director, comments: “Mobileworker is an incredibly versatile solution that helps to capture, secure and improve the accuracy of important business information, and enables pest control technicians to access the data they need easily and rapidly. It eliminates unnecessary paperwork as well as the frustrations of wasted time due to lack of chemicals and equipment or incorrect or incomplete information. Combined, businesses can improve efficiency, quality of service and perhaps most importantly, profitability.” |
