Codegate Appoints Ian Quint as Sales & Marketing Director with seat on the board

Codegate today announced that Ian Quint has been appointed as its Sales & Marketing Director with a seat on the Board of Directors. Previously Managing Director of i2 Mobile Solutions Ltd (i2MS), which was acquired by Codegate in November 2007, Quint has been responsible for sales at Codegate since January 2008.

“Ian has proved a great asset to the business and during the past year has secured business worth over £1 million including a major project with the Olympic Delivery Authority through his relationship with Logica,” said Terran Churcher, Codegate’s Managing Director. “Ian has helped to drive Codegate’s mobile solution offering deeper into the warehouse and retail space by leveraging i2 Mobile Solutions mobile and data capture successes with companies like River Island, Wyevale Garden Centres, Majestic Wine Warehouse, Halfords and Cannon Group.”

With over 25 years experience within the mobile industry including 16 years as MD at i2MS where Quint was instrumental in taking MDT Ltd, the i2MS group holding company, from £250K to £7M Quint also held managerial positions within Psion PLC and Husky Computers.
