Ensure delegates have appropriate access
Codegate provides access control on a choice of mobile devices. The system relies on each delegate badge being printed with an identifying bar code and issued prior to entry. Codegate can advise on the bar code format required, or can provide a complete badge printing solution.
Two solution options are available, batch and wireless.
In the batch solution, the database of delegates and access permissions is downloaded to each handheld at the start of the event. As each delegate queues for entry the gate controller scans the id badge and receives an instant indication of pass or fail.
In the wireless solution the gate controller operates in the same way, but in this case a server based delegate list is accessed. That allows for up to the minute changes to be made to delegate access rights and accommodates late entries.
Each delegate entry is also recorded and time stamped, information which may be later fed into the delegate tracking system.
